News Update

Hey guys, its been a while. I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to do any spriting and everything I've done on deviantart here for a while has been off of my Kindle.

Well, I bring good news. My new computer parts will be arriving tomorrow and then all I'll have to do is build it! I've been working at the University of Minnesota (more or less volunteering, if you will) where I'm receiving training on various computer things (i.e computer repair, setting up servers, building computers) and tomorrow I'm building my first computer. Over the years I've had one good computer at my dad's house and a shit computer (with 1 ram of memory, a 150gb hardrive, and a lot of viruses from my family members >.<), so I've only been able to make sprites at my dad's house. Well tomorrow, my brand new computer that is way better than my dad's computer will be arriving. I have photoshop and all that good stuff ready to go, and I'll have a much bigger hardrive (my good computer has 250gb and my new one already has 1.5tb hardrive. I'll also be checking to see if my 150gb hardrive is a SATA hardrive, and if it is, I'll be hooking that one up too once I format it.) so I'll be able to a lot more spriting AND I can finally watch youtube videos >.<

In other news, I have finally decided how I'm going to be handling Citrine and how I will work on it. It's going to be a free-learn project that I'll work on when I have time. I'll keep all my characters (not selling them, ever) and will continue to work on whatever I feel like. I'm not going to be focusing on programming yet, though I'm definitely going to teach myself how to do it now that I can watch videos on it. To make things very clear, unless you are a good friend of mine, I have no ambition to start working on anyone else's projects. I'm still going to be compressed on time (I'm pretty much working two jobs right now. One I work 24 hours a week, the other I work 15-20 hours a week), so I honestly don't want another project on my hands. So please, and I know I've said this before, don't ask me. It's just annoying.

Oh and before I forget, I'm done making public tilesets. I don't see the point in them anymore since most people who do use my tilesets decide that I didn't do enough on them to get credit for assembling and editing them, which is awesome. So if you want to use my newer tilesets (which I have actually slowly been updating on my computer), ask first and you'll have to promise to give me proper credit. Sounds good? Great.
